Beum-Sgèithe
[Shields Clash]

Crìost shield us!
A deluge of demonic tongues
make ready death dealing weapons,
false fabrications to batter
the thisness of our being.

Shields clash!
Fear severs hope’s sinews,
Webs of words abrade our mind, bruise our heart,
attack our voyage with An Geadh Fiadhaich.
Crìost repel these weapons
that belabour our breath, weaken our blood.

By the almighty power of Righ nan Dùl,
unrelenting love that empowers His own,
Crìost calls “To Me! Eyes on Me!
Fear not! Be not afraid!
Strike your shields with joyful praise!
Voyage on with An Geadh Fiadhaich.”
