[Act of Thinking]
It is neither the words nor the melody
but presence of the Spiorad Naomh
commingling with my act of thinking.
It’s like Tui’s tunes with Magpie’s chortles,
dawns chorus— a polyphonic symphony
a treasured awakening to meaning.
It is not chasing human sageness,
but hearing wise discernment of Spiorad Naomh,
gentle guidance on my act of thought.
