Eyes of Grace Once a friend, now looks away he greets me with a smile, but walks away. We walk different paths, he does not want to know mine. Father, let me see life through the eyes of Christ, no longer through that deceptive tree of ideologies of good and evil. Christ, by this can I love and walk amongst hostile hearts and iron wills, in the way of Your grace. Christ, be joy to my heart. I am shunned, betrayed, pushed away, friendships gone, because I simply walk Christ’s way, not of their ideology. Holy Spirit be my peace, my guide to be as Christ created me. Be my strength, protect me amongst hardened hearts that I live each breath in grace and joy.
