God Moving Beyond Us, Vocation As Resistance

Silt and Clay

Silt and Clay

If time were the highest mountain
people would climb and claim it.

Yet who can wait so long
till it becomes mere silt and clay

washed away down braided river.
My King can, everlasting Creator.

A poem from Vocation as Resistance © Craig A. Roberts 2022.
